What is now P.T.M. PRODUKTION technisch-mechanische Geräte GmbH

with registered office at 82178 PUCHHEIM, Boschstrasse 4, was founded in June 1988 in Gröbenzell.

The company, entered in the Commercial Register as No. 84593, is engaged in the development,

production and sale of technical and mechanical machinery, equipment and parts.

Production programme

Equipment, produced wholly under the company’s own development, consists mainly of pneumatically

driven rotary actuators and tilting modules, gripping modules, tilting-gripping modules and linear units

and special plant for handling and automation.  

A particular characteristic of P.T.M. products is their small, light construction relative to their high output and long life.

Market position

We supply the national market via our own distribution system. 

We export world-wide from our German production plan, via independent trading companies. 

Our equipment is mainly used for special applications, so the market is relatively competition-free, but small. 

The most important buyer countries are Switzerland, Spain, Holland, Belgium, Great Britain, Sweden and Australia.

History of the company

The present managing director, Hans Müller, began in the Eighties with initial experiments and developments

in the field of pneumatic miniature rotary and tilting actuators.

Soon these products, now developed for serial production, were being distributed world-wide

through P.T.M. Präzisionstechnik Gröbenzell, which he founded with a number of other shareholders at the end of 1983. 

Since 1995 the company has been distributing its products itself. 

P.T.M. Gröbenzell now only operates as a commercial agency for catalogue products in the sales area of Bavaria.

In 1993 we were awarded the State Prize of the Bavarian State Government, in the form of a gold medal, for “Particular technical achievement.”     

In 2002 our firm was certified in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001: 2000.
